The exhibition, based on the collection of the Munnings Art Museum in Dedham, Essex is comprised of an eclectic mix of paintings by Sir Alfred Munnings with a focus on how his pictures were conceived and carried out.
The display features pictures from throughout Munnings’ sixty-year career, many of which were exhibited at the Royal Academy, with earlier works done in Norfolk and Suffolk showing the people and ponies he knew day to day alongside later pictures depicting his world-famous horse-racing scenes and equestrian portraits
The exhibition runs from May 17th to May 26th at St Mary’s Church from 10am until 4pm
